Travellers returning to England from both island groups will now be exempt from quarantine. Due to their successful lockdown measures and high levels of testing, both groups of islands have some of the lowest infection rates in Europe:
Azores – Infections 137, Fatalities 15
Madeira – Infections 92, Fatalities 0
