Hello Ian
Just wanted to say what a fantastic holiday we had in Namibia and thank you for arranging everything. It was especially lovely of you to arrange for us to have a meal on our anniversary, that was a really special thing to do, so thank you so much. Not everyone gets to 40 years of marriage!
We were also spoilt on our last day in Okonjima, they also knew we were celebrating so arranged for us to have a private dinner in The Kraal with a complimentary bottle of fizz.
Words cannot fully express what a wonderful holiday it was. There was one time I was a little out of my comfort zone, a sand storm and thunder storm in Sossus! Not the best time to be trying to put a tent up on top of the vehicle.
You definitely saved the best to last, Okonjima is an amazing place full of the most amazing people and cats.
Christina was extremely helpful, especially when we got lost on our very first day! I put that down to a long flight overnight and not enough sleep!!!!
Once again thank you for an amazing holiday experience, Archipelago Choice always deliver fabulous holidays.

This is the main highlight of a stay at this luxurious lodge where you can go rhino tracking on foot and by vehicle with the help of the local Save the Rhino Trust guides. You can also go on general game drives, sundowner drives, birdwatching tours and general nature walks with experienced guides. The camp has eight Meru-style tent rooms and with a capacity of just 16 guests, there’s an intimate and friendly atmosphere. There’s a main area (also a tent) where you can lounge on the leather sofas looking out over the sweeping plain and at night a campfire great for chatting about your day. Each tent has an ensuite bathroom, mosquito net, fan, safe and tea and coffee making facilities.
Perched on top of a dune plateau, with wonderful views in all directions over the desert, the beautiful Wolwedans Dunes Lodge is made up of wooden structures and canvas blinds. There are two lounges, a number of sundowner decks, a fireplace, tea deck, library, wine cellar and two dining rooms as well as a swimming pool suspended above the sand. You’ll be staying in one of the nine chalets which are just gorgeous. The chalet walls are elegant canvas blinds which can be rolled up so you can lie in your four poster bed and feel like you are part of the desert and watch the spectacular stars at night. You’ll also have an ensuite bathroom and a private decked veranda.
A luxurious, intimate, chic boutique hotel with a warm African soul – this is ‘the’ place to stay in Nambia’s capital, Windhoek. Walls in The Olive Exclusive are clad in giant photographs of Nambian landscapes, rough-hewn wooden benches and tables are offset by elegant lighting and delicate touches of fabrics. There is a high quality restaurant serving inventive seasonal signature dishes where you can either sit out overlooking the olive grove and views over the surrounding mountains or enjoy the cosy indoor dining room. All rooms are suites and they are exquisite; each reflecting a different region of Namibia with their own lounge area with fireplace, dining area for private dining and the premier suites have their own plunge pools. Everything you’d expect is there; WiFi, air conditioning, HD TV, mini bar, computer and iPod docking station. The only downside is you’ll just not want to leave…
