Meet the team

Having spent most of my life living in the Lake District I have had no shortage of beautiful views and the great outdoors, but during my first proper travel experience in my early twenties to Nepal I discovered what it was like to be immersed in a completely new culture and fell in love with it. My friends and I spent our time trekking the Annapurna’s and volunteering in small villages to build houses for families affected by an earthquake. By the time I got home I was hooked, and realised travelling is what I wanted to do.

The following decade led me to working full time in hospitality, either behind the bar or in the kitchen, until I’d saved enough money to disappear for a few months. I’ve have now visited much of Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, North America, and a few places in Europe. When I was offered the job at Archipelago Choice I couldn’t believe my luck. I get to work with a great team, discovering new places, and talking to people about what I enjoy the most: travel!

Currently I specialise in arranging holidays to the Azores, but I look forward to expanding my knowledge of Portugal and her islands (and erstwhile islands) in the future.
